If I am running for local office, should I even have a campaign website?
Yes, because your voters will look for you online . Whether you are running for Senate, Town Supervisor or the local school board, a website can be an essential component in your campaign. Over half of all Americans are now online. A growing percentage of the voting public seeks election news and candidate information online.
Campaign websites give you more freedom to get your message across than other delivery methods. You aren't limited by the size of a brouchure size or the time of a radio ad. It costs far less to raise one campaign dollar from your website than through direct mail, telemarketing, and prospecting lists.
A web site can be used to invite feedback, recruit volunteers, solicit contributions and share media ads and news reports as they happen. In a recent survey, over half the volunteers recruited from candidate websites had never before volunteered for a campaign.
Having a custom web site built by a professional can cost thousands of dollars. Having an amateur build your site can end in a less than desirable result. On the other hand, continually having a professional programmer build and update your site can be expensive.

How does the Online Candidate process work?
After you order your package, we will contact you to verify your chosen domain (if included) and contact information. Then we will set up your website (including purchasing your domain name for you, if necessary). After the domain is set up and the domain name resolves (points) to your site, we will send you an e-mail containing your user ID and password, and a link to the "Admin" area where you can build your site. From there, you will have all the tools at your disposal to build and maintain your site.
As you start building your site, we will create your custom header and tweak your template to suit your needs. After that, we are available to help you as you set things up. We take pride in our personal service and attention to detail.

How much does an Online Candidate package cost?
The price varies from $279 to $329.00, depending on the package chosen. Additional features and services are also available. See our Order Page for more information.
Can I use my own domain name?
If your domain name is already registered: To use Online Candidate software, your site must reside on our dedicated servers. Following signup, we will provide information to 'point' your domain name to our servers.
If your domain name is not already registered: We will register your domain for you, in your name, when we set up your website.
Domain Guidelines
A basic Online Candidate package includes your site setup, configuration of your Online Candidate software, the setup of one or more email forwards, and 500 megabytes of server space. We do not impose a bandwidth limit on your account.
Domain Limitations:
- File size of uploaded images: 500KB per image
- File size of other upload files (pdf and docs): 1500KB per file
- Basic mail list, maximum 500 members.

What is the Content Library?

Can you perform custom work?
We can perform custom work on request. Many of our features are based on user request. However, custom work may effect future upgrades.
